Wisconsin Lottery Adds Lightning Ball Feature to Badger 5 for September
A September-only Wisconsin Lottery offer places an extra Lightning Ball number on one in three Badger 5 plays and includes a $500 non-jackpot prize combination.
Wisconsin Badger 5 players have a month-long chance to receive an extra Lightning Ball number under a new limited-time offer from the Wisconsin Lottery.
The promotion began September 1 and is scheduled to continue through September 30. During the offer, one in every three Badger 5 plays statewide receives a Lightning Ball number printed on the play.
The feature can be used with qualifying non-jackpot prize combinations. A play that matches four of the five drawn numbers and also matches the Lightning Ball pays $500.
The Lightning Ball does not create a path to the Badger 5 jackpot. The Wisconsin Lottery says the extra number cannot be used to win the game's top prize.
Badger 5 remains $1 per play during the promotion. Players looking for current draw information can check the latest Wisconsin Badger 5 results.
