Three Maryland Powerball tickets win $50,000 or more in September 28 drawing

A North Beach ticket won $150,000 with Power Play, while tickets sold in Middle River and Lutherville won $50,000 each.

Three Powerball tickets sold in Maryland won at least $50,000 each in the September 28, 2026, drawing. One was worth $150,000 after a Power Play multiplier tripled its prize, according to the Maryland Lottery.

All three tickets matched four white balls and the Powerball. That combination won $50,000 on two of the tickets. The third ticket had the $1 Power Play option, which increased its prize from $50,000 to $150,000 when a 3x multiplier applied.

The $150,000 ticket was sold on September 14, ahead of the drawing. It came from Fastop Food Store at 8834 Chesapeake Avenue in North Beach, Calvert County.

The two $50,000 tickets were sold in Baltimore County. One came from Martin Exxon at 2333 Eastern Boulevard in Middle River.

The other $50,000 ticket came from Royal Farms at 501 West Seminary Avenue in Lutherville. Neither of the two Baltimore County tickets had its prize increased by Power Play.

The three tickets were not the only Maryland winners in the September 28 drawing. Another 12,451 Maryland Powerball players won prizes ranging from $4 to $100, the Maryland Lottery said.

No ticket matched every number needed to win the September 28 jackpot. The estimated jackpot for the September 30 drawing was $409 million, with a $170.2 million cash option. Those figures described the prize available in the following drawing, not an amount won by any of the three Maryland tickets.

Players have 182 days from the drawing date to claim a prize, according to the Maryland Lottery. Readers looking for current numbers can find them on the latest Powerball results page.
