Pasadena Great-Grandmother Claims $57,777 Maryland Scratch-Off Prize

A Pasadena woman claimed a $57,777 top prize on the Maryland Lottery’s Triple Red 7s Tripler scratch-off game on September 3, 2026. The prize matched the game’s highest available award and marked a substantially larger win than the player’s previous best lottery prize.

The winner is a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her previous largest lottery prize was $5,000 from Pick 4, making the $57,777 scratch-off award more than 11 times the value of her earlier top prize.

The winning ticket was purchased at Whitey’s Liquors, located at 803 North Hammond’s Ferry Road in Linthicum, Maryland. The retailer is set to receive a $577.77 bonus for selling the ticket connected to the top-prize claim.

Triple Red 7s Tripler is a $5 scratch-off game that gives players 16 chances to win. The Maryland Lottery lists it as game number 801, and the game began on May 15, 2026.

The game’s top prize is $57,777, the same amount claimed by the Pasadena player. The Maryland Lottery’s published overall probability of winning a prize on Triple Red 7s Tripler is 1 in 3.94.

Triple Red 7s Tripler launched with eight $57,777 top prizes. Four of those top prizes remained unclaimed immediately after the Pasadena woman’s win.

The game’s later status showed a different remaining count. As of September 11, 2026, three $57,777 top prizes remained unclaimed, according to the Maryland Lottery’s listing for the game.

The change in the remaining-prize count places the winning ticket within the game’s broader top-prize inventory, but the available information does not identify the holders of any other winning tickets. The three-prize figure is specifically dated September 11, 2026.
