A Lake Jackson resident has claimed a $26.75 million Lotto Texas jackpot from the August 10, 2026, drawing, ending a run of 48 drawings since the prize was advertised at $5 million for the April 22 drawing.

The ticket was purchased at Murphy USA 5695, located at 1803 N. Velasco St. in Angleton. The retailer received a $25,000 bonus through the Texas Lottery Retailer Bonus Program for selling the winning ticket.
The claimant is working with a financial adviser, lawyer and certified public accountant to manage the winnings, pay debts and establish long-term financial security for the family. Initial plans also included buying a steak and a pair of boots.
The August 10 drawing’s official record lists one jackpot winner. Readers can check the game’s current information on the latest Texas Lotto Texas results page.
