Florida Lottery Raises JACKPOT TRIPLE PLAY Jackpots and Adds $20 Package
JACKPOT TRIPLE PLAY’s starting jackpot rose to $500,000 and its top jackpot to $3 million as the Florida Lottery introduced a $20 package with 13 chances to win.
Florida Lottery players received two changes in September 2026: larger JACKPOT TRIPLE PLAY jackpots and a new $20 package combining plays from several lottery games. The JACKPOT TRIPLE PLAY changes began September 21, 2026, while the GROUPER JACKPOT SAMPLER launched the following day.
The JACKPOT TRIPLE PLAY starting jackpot increased from $250,000 to $500,000. That change doubles the amount attached to the game’s starting jackpot.
The game’s top jackpot also increased, rising from $2 million to $3 million. The two jackpot adjustments apply to the JACKPOT TRIPLE PLAY format rather than changing its individual ticket price.
The base price for a JACKPOT TRIPLE PLAY play remains $1. Players can select six numbers from 1 through 46, or they can use Quick Pick instead of choosing the numbers themselves.
The first JACKPOT TRIPLE PLAY drawing under the increased jackpot amounts was scheduled for September 22, 2026. The game’s drawings are held on Tuesday and Friday nights at 11:15 p.m. Eastern Time.
Sales close at 10:55 p.m. on JACKPOT TRIPLE PLAY drawing nights. Readers looking for current draw information can use the latest Florida Jackpot Triple Play results page.
The Florida Lottery launched the $20 GROUPER JACKPOT SAMPLER on September 22, 2026. The package provides 13 chances to win and contains tickets with a stated total value of $22 for a $20 purchase price.
The sampler includes a week’s worth of plays from POWERBALL, MEGA MILLIONS and FLORIDA LOTTO. It also includes two free JACKPOT TRIPLE PLAY tickets, bringing the game with the newly increased jackpots into the package.
The POWERBALL portion consists of one $2 ticket covering three drawings. The MEGA MILLIONS portion is one $5 ticket covering two drawings.
The package also contains one $2 FLORIDA LOTTO ticket covering two drawings. Each of the two free JACKPOT TRIPLE PLAY tickets covers two drawings.
The individual ticket contents account for the package’s stated value. The POWERBALL ticket is valued at $2, the MEGA MILLIONS ticket at $5 and the FLORIDA LOTTO ticket at $2, while the two JACKPOT TRIPLE PLAY tickets are included free with the sampler.
All tickets in the GROUPER JACKPOT SAMPLER are Quick Picks. Players cannot select their own numbers for the package’s tickets.
The package also does not allow players to add on features to the tickets included in the sampler. Its play structure is therefore set when the package is purchased, including the games, drawing coverage and Quick Pick numbers.
The POWERBALL portion covers three drawings, while the MEGA MILLIONS and FLORIDA LOTTO portions each cover two drawings. The two free JACKPOT TRIPLE PLAY tickets likewise cover two drawings apiece. Current information for the POWERBALL portion is available on the latest Powerball results page.
The jackpot increase and the package launch are separate Florida Lottery changes. JACKPOT TRIPLE PLAY’s higher starting and top jackpots began September 21, and the GROUPER JACKPOT SAMPLER became available September 22, giving players a new $20 package that includes plays across four games, counting its two free JACKPOT TRIPLE PLAY tickets.
