Wayne County man wins $1 million on instant lottery ticket purchased in Plymouth

A Wayne County man recently won $1 million on a Michigan Lottery Wild Cherry instant ticket purchased in Plymouth.

A 50-year-old Wayne County man's ritual recently won him $1 million.The man was completing his daily routine of purchasing an instant lottery ticket at the Way Station located at 950 S. Main St. in Plymouth when he purchased a Wild Cherry instant ticket.When he scratched the $10 ticket, it revealed a $1 million prize, according to the Michigan Lottery."I like playing all of the different Lottery games, and I have a daily ritual of stopping at the Way Station to purchase a scratch-off ticket," he told the Michigan Lottery. "I scratched the Wild Cherry ticket when I got home and when I saw it was a $1 million winning ticket, I had to scan it on the app to make sure I was reading it right.
