Wake County man wins first $100,000 prize in new game

Javier Justiniano of Fuquay-Varina took a chance on a $20 scratch-off and won the first $100,000 prize in a new lottery game.Justiniano bought his lucky 100X The Cash ticket from 3 Brothers on East Main Street in Boonville.He arrived at lottery headquarters Thursday to claim his prize and, after required federal and state tax withholdings, took home $71,756.The 100X The Cash game debuted this week with four top prizes of $2 million and six prizes of $100,000. Four $2 million prizes and five $100,000 prizes remain to be claimed.
