NEW YORK CITY - Police are searching for the suspects accused of stealing almost $7,000 in lottery tickets from various stores throughout New York City. When did these incidents happen? Timeline: The first incident was reported to police on Dec 26, at approximately 8:30 p.m. when the suspects entered a business on Eigth Avenue in Manhattan. Police said when the suspects entered the store with a gun and stole approximately $2,100 worth of lottery tickets and fled the scene. The second incident was reported to police on January 8, at approximately 8:20 p.m. when the suspects entered a business on Broadway in Astoria, Queens. Police said when the suspects entered the store with a gun and stole approximately $4,800 worth of lottery tickets and fled the scene and entered the Broadway subway station. What was the cause? What we don't know: Police have not released the names of the suspects at this time. The motive is also unclear. What we know: No injuries were reported in either of these incidents. Police described the suspects as males with a medium complexion.
