Platte county man wins Show Me Cash lottery prize

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - An store clerk seemed to be as excited as the winner after determining a Platte County man won a Show Me Cash jackpot.“It took (the store clerk) a few minutes to be able to tell me what was going on,” the winner shared. “He couldn’t talk he was so excited. He just kept saying, ‘You won! You won! You won!’ And I kept saying, ‘What did I win?’ because I didn’t even know what the jackpot was.”The man finally learned he won $327,000 after matching all five numbers in the December 18 drawing. The unidentified winner bought the ticket at the Phillips 66 at 6250 N.W. Barry Road in Kansas City. “I have no plans right now. I don’t really know what I’m going to do with the money – probably buy a few more lottery tickets,” the winner laughed. “It was an extra nice Christmas.”Showo Me Cash is a daily draw game from the Missouri Lottery. The jackpot start at $50,000 and grow until someone wins. Someone did get all the numbers in last night’s drawing, so the prize resets to $50,000 for tonight.
