The first incident occurred on December 26, 2024, around 8:30 p.m. at a business located at 46 8th Avenue in Manhattan’s 6th Precinct. Police reported that two unidentified individuals entered the store, simulated a firearm, and stole approximately $2,100 worth of lottery tickets before fleeing on foot. No injuries were reported. The second incident took place on January 8, 2025, at approximately 8:20 p.m. in Queens within the 114th Precinct. Authorities stated that two suspects entered a store at 31-02 Broadway, displayed a firearm, and stole about $4,800 in lottery tickets. The suspects escaped on foot and were last seen entering the Broadway subway station.
