For the first time in 2025, a Michigan Lottery player has won $1 million playing Mega Millions. A lucky player matched the five white balls in last night’s drawing to win $1 million: 20-24-33-39-48. The winning ticket was bought at the Shell gas station, located at 37820 Green Street in New Baltimore. “A Michigan Lottery player is starting the new year off with a big boost to their bank account after winning $1 million in last night’s Mega Millions drawing!” said Lottery Commissioner, Suzanna Shkreli. “Congratulations to the winner.” The lucky winner should contact the Lottery’s Player Relations division at 844-917-6325 to claim the prize. Mega Millions prizes must be claimed within one year from the date of the drawing. Mega Millions drawings take place each Tuesday and Friday evening. Each Mega Millions play is only $2. For an additional $1 per play, players have the opportunity to add a “Megaplier” that can multiply non-jackpot prizes by up to five times. Mega Millions tickets are sold in 45 states, Washington D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
