Massachusetts has a new big lottery winner that turned out to be quite the early Christmas present even if it wasn't claimed at the time of the win. According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Lucky Legacy Trust of Norwood has claimed a $1 million Mega Millions prize won in the multi-state game

According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Lucky Legacy Trust of Norwood has claimed a $1 million Mega Millions prize won in the multi-state game’s drawing held Friday, December 13th. The trust, represented by trustee Susana Murphy, received a one-time payment of $1,000,000 (before taxes). The winning ticket was purchased at Norwood Central Market Gulf/Ghafour Fuel, 145 Broadway St. in Norwood. The store receives a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.
