A $100,000 lottery ticket was sold in Massachusetts Friday. The ticket was sold at Laney’s Variety in Spencer, according to the Massachusetts State Lottery website.It was won during the “Mass Cash” drawing held on Dec. 27. The winning numbers were 10, 23, 24, 30, 31.“Mass Cash” drawings occur daily at 9 p.m. and tickets to play are $1. A player must choose five numbers between 1 and 35, and there are three available prizes to win.If all five numbers match the numbers drawn, the “Mass Cash” player wins $100,000. If they match four numbers, the prize is $250, and if they match three, the prize is $10. Across the state, there were 840 prizes worth $600 or more that were won or claimed in all lottery games on Friday, including 55 in Boston, 35 in Worcester and 19 in Springfield. The Massachusetts State Lottery releases a full list of winning tickets every day. The list only includes winning tickets worth more than $600.So far, the largest lottery prize won in Massachusetts this year was worth $1 million a year for life.The prize was from the lottery’s “Lifetime Millions” scratch ticket game. The winner claimed their prize through a trust on July 10, and opted to receive a one-time payment of $15.4 million.Mass.
