Even if she wasn't a fan of the green, she's surely enjoying it now.Nancy Hurley-Shannon, of Holbrook, cashed in the third grand prize of six associated with the Massachusetts State Lottery’s Celtics Banner 18 instant ticket on Wednesday, Jan. 8.Hurley-Shannon opted for the one-time payment of $650,000, before taxes, in lieu of the $50,000 annuity for 20 years. She said he plans on using her winnings on her home and her retirement. Perhaps a parquet floor?Convenience Mart at 779 South Franklin St. in Holbrook will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.The ticket’s Second Chance Drawings give players the chance to enter non-winning tickets for a variety of Celtics experiential and merchandise prizes, including the opportunity to participate in the "Banner 18 Challenge," in which one winner is guaranteed to win $1 million.According to the Lottery, in each of the five Second Chance Drawings, one "Banner 18 Challenge" participant is selected. After all drawings are completed, the winners will participate in the challenge on the parquet floor during halftime of a Celtics home game. The four participants who don't win the $1 million will each receive a $10,000 prize.Additional second-chance prizes include Celtics suite and all-access experiences, game tickets, custom jerseys and Celtics prize packs.
