Jan 6, 2025 | 5:29 AM (Newton) An Iowa man who won the lottery on New Year’s Eve says it’s time for a new car.  Forty-six-year-old Daniel Bragg of Newton has claimed a 150-thousand dollar prize and tells the Iowa Lottery he plans to trade in his 2001 Chevy Suburban.  It has more than 849-thousand miles on it.  Bragg says he’s thinking of getting a new pickup. On Thursday, he drove that loud, red, and rusty Suburban through a snowstorm to claim a top prize in the “Money Gift” scratch game at lottery headquarters in Clive.
