(Courtesy Adobe Stock) Students may now submit lottery applications for Clear Horizons Early College High School as of Jan. 7, according to a social media post by Clear Creek ISD.What you need to knowClear Horizons Early College High School is located on the San Jacinto South campus and “allows students least likely to attend college or who wish to accelerate completion of high school, to combine high school courses and college-level courses,” according to the school’s website.The program is tuition free and allows students to earn a high school diploma, up to 60 hours of college credit, an associate degree and/or industry-based certifications, the school’s website notes.The school is also launching Pathways in Technology Early College High School in the fall, according to the social media post. This will allow students to focus on the following health care careers through a dual-credit pathway:Phlebotomy technicianCertified nursing assistantElectrocardiography technicianPatient care technicianLottery applications close Feb. 7, according to the social media post.
