Clark County retailers sold $5,539,673.50 worth of lottery tickets during 2024, an average of $461,639.50 per month, according to statistics kept throughout the year by The Arkadelphian. The highest-selling month was March, and the lowest-selling month was September. Lottery ticket sales in Clark County during December 2024 totaled $504,021, according to a report released by the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration – Office of the Arkansas Lottery. The figure was up from $456,061 in November lottery sales. Statewide, Arkansas had lottery ticket sales of $53,858,000; up from $48,080,314.50 in November. The seven-county area collectively sold more than $2.56 million in lottery tickets, or roughly 4.7% of the state’s total sales. Regional sales rose about $20,000 from the previous month’s report. The six neighboring counties (county seats in parentheses) surveyed had lottery ticket sales as follows for the month of December 2024: Dallas (Fordyce) had lottery ticket sales totaling $227,270.50 in December; down from $239,674.50 in November. Hot Spring County (Malvern) had lottery ticket sales totaling $482,820.50 in December; up from $421,572 in November. Montgomery County (Mt. Ida) had lottery ticket sales totaling $50,718 in December; up from $45,301 in November. Nevada County (Prescott) had lottery tickets sales totaling $178,354 in December; down from $182,454.50 in November. Ouachita County (Camden) had lottery ticket sales totaling $958,876.50 in December; up from $873,459 in November.
