However, those looking to claim a prize in person will have to wait. The lottery claim centers are closed on Christmas. But that’s only for large prizes. Prizes between $601-$5,000 can be claimed using the Mass Lottery app’s mobile cashing feature.So far, the largest lottery prize won in Massachusetts this year was worth $1 million a year for life.The prize was from the lottery’s “Lifetime Millions” scratch ticket game.
