WAYNE COUNTY, Mich. (Gray News) – A man in Michigan who won a $1.05 million jackpot said the win was “an early Christmas miracle.”According to the Michigan Lottery, the 57-year-old lottery player, who wanted to remain anonymous, said he matched the winning Lotto 47 numbers on Dec. 4, 2024.The winner bought his prize ticket at Maple Drugs in Westland.He said he checked his ticket for the winning numbers the day after the drawing.“When confetti came up on the screen with the amount of $1.05 million, all I could think was, ‘It’s a miracle! An early Christmas miracle!’ It’s pretty amazing to invest $1 and win $1.05 million,” he said. “Just like that, your financial future is clearer.”The lucky player visited the state lottery’s headquarters to claim his prize.
