The winning ticket was from the game “$500,000 Cashword Corners 2023.” The $5 game was released on Jan. 30, 2023, and has just one $500,000 grand prize remaining to be claimed as of Dec. 11.The $500,000 prize claimed Tuesday was from a ticket sold at the J&M Pipe & Tobacco shop in Pittsfield.Additionally, two $100,000 prizes were claimed on Tuesday. One was from the “Diamond Deluxe” scratch ticket game and was sold at the Dev Convenience Store in Peabody, and the other was from a “Millions” ticket sold at Yankee Gas & Market in Worcester.Overall, at least 512 prizes worth $600 or more were won or claimed in Massachusetts on Tuesday, including 12 in Springfield, 21 in Worcester and 48 in Boston.The Massachusetts State Lottery releases a full list of winning tickets every day. The list only includes winning tickets worth more than $600.So far, the largest lottery prize won in Massachusetts this year was worth $1 million a year for life.The prize was from the lottery’s “Lifetime Millions” scratch ticket game.
